BEUSEA

Beusea was inspired by Indonesia’s underwater riches. The Indonesian sea is a region with very diverse and colorful seabed biota and the highest diversity of coral reefs in the world. The geometric shape of sea coral reefs inspired the Beusea collection to take Indonesian woven fabrics.

The look is inspired by the 1960s look which has an A line silhouette, geometrical shape, mini dress, mini skirt, minimalism with bright colors and contemporary motifs and a modern look. The materials used are also more diverse and the motifs are more contemporary. The wastra that we use is Woven Troso Jepara cloth. Weaving is a cloth made by combining threads lengthwise (called warp threads) and transversely (called weft threads) alternately.
